Hi, I'm Mikk, a designer in Tallinn, Estonia. I've always wanted to shape things: take something that exists and make it work better.

If there's one quality I aim for, it's calm – software that does its job quietly and lets you get back to yours. That kind of quiet takes a surprising amount of work. Most of it is small: removing a step, rewording a label, getting a default right so nobody has to think about it. Nobody thanks you for any of that. I find it satisfying anyway.

Outside of work, you'll find me on a bike, out on the water learning to sail, or spending time with my family. I go the extra mile for good coffee and always have a book nearby.
